their lost items to the relevant regulatory agencies as well as the general public. For replacements, once okayed by the
police and the replacing entity concerned then the replacement process can be initiated or undertaken within the
Kitambulisho Yetu platform. This would serve as a one stop shop for all the related bodies/agencies of interest.
Report found items - The platform enables members of the public to report items that
they come across whose owners are not readily known with a bid to help reach the owners of these items.
That's why we instruct that the items be left at *verified locations such as police stations, hospitals and bus
booking offices for instance. Don't worry, just drop it off at the nearest after recording it on KITAMBULISHO.COM.

The item however has to be reported on kitambulisho.com We cannot be able to state the status of the
lost non-reported items. We however recommend you sign up on the kitambulisho.com
and record your important items to ensure you get a notification when it is found in case of a loss. We are

Trace and get back their lost and found items - For lost and found items that are logged onto the
platform, owners of these items are immediately notified of the exact places to collect them once they are found.
Verify ownership of lost and found items - Dealers of second hand items now have an avenue to authenticate ownership of
these items before effecting transactions. For items that are logged onto the platform, the dealer can confirm if they have been flagged
as having been lost as well as verifying the details of the owner registered on the platform. The owners of these items are also
immediately notified of the attempted transaction.
